About Bright Living Therapy, LLC.

Bright Living Therapy, LLC. is a Counseling Practice in Wayne County, Ohio. Bright Living Therapy, LLC. was founded by Renee Bright, MA.Ed., LPCC-S. Renee has a passion to serve those in the surrounding communities and walk alongside others in their mental health journey.

Our Counselors

Renee Bright, M.A. Ed., LPCC-S

Renee Bright, M.A. Ed., LPCC-S has a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from Malone University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S). She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and holds Basic Training in Natural Lifemanship. Renee is a public speaker and program developer. Renee also has intensive training in marriage relationships. Renee has experience working with individuals of all ages with and without disabilities and couples. She has extensive experience leading group work and presentations/seminars.


Renee specializes in the treatment of trauma and adjustment disorders, postpartum depression, depression, anxiety disorders, grief and loss, parenting, marriage and relationship issues.

Renee is married and has three married adult children and grandchildren. Renee is also a mom to a preschool-aged son who came into her family's life through kinship care. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking with her dog, jogging, baking/cooking, traveling, and helping out in her community in different capacities. 


Morgan Stair, M.A. Ed., LPC

Morgan Stair, M.A. Ed., LPC has a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from Malone University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Morgan has experience working with individuals of all ages with and without disabilities, and couples, and leading group work.


Morgan's practice interests are in the treatment of  postpartum depression, depression, and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, trauma and adjustment disorders, parenting, behavioral challenges, and marriage and relationship issues.

Morgan is a wife and a mother. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, traveling, sourdough baking, and volunteering in children's ministry.

Laury Bitecofer, M.A. Ed., LPC

Laury Bitecofer, M.A. Ed., LPC has a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from Malone University. She also has a Master's Degree in Agency and Community Counseling from Troy State University. Laury is retired from the Department of the Army, where she worked in Army Family Programs as a program director, and in case management, advocacy, and social interventions.


Laury is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Complex Trauma, Autism Intervention, Parent Effectiveness Training, and Intensive Training in Natural Lifemanship. Laury has experience working with individuals with and without disabilities, groups, and couples. She is experienced as a facilitator, instructor, and in program development and presentations. She is currently training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.


Laury's practice interest lies in the treatment of trauma, adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, parenting, marriage, and relationship challenges.


Laury is married to a 35-year Army veteran, and they have two adult sons and two grandsons. She and her husband share their home with 2 cats, 2 dogs, and a barn with 4 horses. She enjoys reading, outdoor activities, aerobics, and volunteering at a therapeutic horseback riding center.

Dawn Wenger, M.A., LPCC-S

Dawn Wenger, MA, LPCC-S, holds a Master’s Degree in Licensed Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervision designation. She has experience working with adults, teens, children, families, and groups. She has worked in the counseling field since 2016, and has worked with children in home-based programs, intensive outpatient programs for adult substance addictions, as a mental health counselor at an international K-12 school in China, and as an individual and group therapist among the plain and other communities of Wayne and Holmes Counties. 


Dawn is available for counseling sessions at Bright Living Therapy, Dalton Office Tuesday through Fridays. She works from a client-focused, strength-based, and somatic therapy approach, working with the connections between the brain, body, emotional, and mental parts of the individual.
